Which Solution?
Who has the best airbrush tanning solution? By now you have discovered that everyone selling DHA solution claims that theirs is the "best". The truth is that DHA solution is much like other widely available products in that there is quite a range in quality and pricing. With most products you will find there is a market for the Cadillacs, the Cavaliers and everything in between. Not so with airbrush tans. An airbrush tan is visible to the world and a consumer would no more knowingly opt for a low quality product and a less than natural looking tan than they would choose to have badly dyed hair.
There are many different DHA formulations, but not near as many as there are labels on DHA solutions. Many products are sold to companies who relabel them, and sometimes they are even sold and relabeled a second time. This doesn't make them bad companies or inferior products. Some companies own their own formula and some also manufacture their own formula. Chemists and formulators can be masters or novices. Again, you will find a range of quality, pricing, bells and whistles, real benefits and marketing ploys.
Any conversation about DHA solution MUST mention of the heat sensitivity of DHA products. It affects how we care for, handle and ship in our summer months, or to other continents during their summer months. When we first became involved with airbrush tanning in 2001 not one the companies we talked to and ordered from said one word about how heat affects DHA. Unbelievable in general, completely indefensible when you consider that they knew they were shipping to our business in FLORIDA!
Some clues that a DHA solution is worth your consideration, regardless of what the person selling it says:
1) Successful airbrush tanning businesses are using that solution
2) You have tried it and love it or
3) You have a friend that has tried it and loves it
